BROOKLYN JAZZ 2. sezona turpinās ar veltījumu Joe Henderson – vienam no oriģinālākajiem un ietekmīgākajiem tenorsaksofonistiem 20. gadsimta otrajā pusē. Hendersons veidoja būtisku tiltu starp hardbopa, postbopa un modernā džeza virzieniem, atstājot paliekošu iespaidu gan kā solists, gan komponists un grupu līderis.
Viņa radošā darbība iekļauj neskaitāmas sadarbības kā arī svarīgus solo albumus izdevniecībā Blue Note, kas kļuvuši par džeza kanona sastāvdaļu.

BROOKLYN JAZZ Season 2 continues with a tribute to Joe Henderson – one of the most original and influential tenor saxophonists of the second half of the 20th century. Henderson formed an essential bridge between the movements of hard bop, post bop and modern jazz, leaving a lasting impression both as a soloist, composer and band leader.
His creative work includes countless collaborations as well as important solo albums on the Blue Note label, which have become part of the jazz canon.
